BEST WELL-BEING SUPPORT FOR BEST STUDENT EXPERIENCE

    Current
    • VP Welfare

    What's the big idea?

    - Welfare Ambassador Scheme for all schools - Mandatory reading week for students. - Will lobby with the university to create - well-equipped Sexual, Racial & Domestic Violence Support services for LSBU Students. -

    How will it benefit students?

    - Want to introduce Welfare Ambassador Scheme at all seven schools to promote University and other well-being and community support. I believe you would agree with me that Academic Success depends largely on the Great Wellbeing Support. - Mandatory Reading Week for all students - During this IT outage, we have seen how we had swamped by the semester one deadlines and sem 2 classes and not enough time to cover it up! Not all courses include this facility for all year students. I want to make sure all students get this service. - We currently have an anonymous reporting and supporting system for the students and staff who suffer sexual violence and hate crimes. However, a system won’t solve the issue if the support is not good. I Will lobby with the University to create - well-equipped Sexual, Racial & Domestic Violence Support services for LSBU Students.
